After using the google image search, there are really a lot of interesting exhibition designs available especially in the western country. Why? I also want to see it in Malaysia!!!
Well, Malaysia so have nice exhibition design when I walk through the convention center or the World Trade Centre when there was holding exhibition like car show, PC fair, Home product fair or book fair. But in my opinion, our exhibition did not look nice like the international one. Why? Because the international exhibition has nice lighting? nice designer? or nice photographer???
Let's see some foreign exhibition design:
Harley Davidson, a well known heavy bike company. I can see a theme in their exhibition design. So, people walk in can get the feeling that how great is it IF they had a bike too.
This one is quite similar with the one En.zul showed in the lecture which had white theme. I'm not sure what is the product but hanging the display board in an exhibition is quite interesting.
An 'island' like exhibition. I bet thise use a lot of budget to make it looks like 'whole set' with a nice theme including chairs, tables, board and lighting.
This picture did stand out among the thumbnail showing in the google image. I bet it will also stand out in an real exhibition among the others.
This design had idea of create an interactivity between the visitor and the exhibition. The wooden stair there looks interesting and it is decorate with colourful ballon. If I'm one of the visitor, I wound like to walk on the stair too! It do attract people's eyes =D
I'm not sure this is whether an exhibition or just an interior design. but I like the tone that that can make people cool down, clam and relax. The design looks modern. The wooden block on the wall look interesting if compare with framed photo.
This is probably a photography exhibition. It do give spaces to the visitor to enjoy looking at the pictures. The grey tone in the exhibition did 'neutralize' visitors's mind by looking on different categories of photos.
Lastly, This is my favorite exhibition among the others! Other than the design, the bronze in the exhibition really grap my attention. Nice theme and nice red colour (my favorite colour) in the design. In my opinion, the design will work if they use the favorite colour of the visitors!
Back to our Convention Centre.
It do have a nice building and interior environment but the inside:
OH My GOD!!! IT IS TOO CROWDED!!! There were not much of nice lighting or interesting design but crowded. Most of the people came for buying product but not enjoy to looking at the exhibition design. BECAUSE IT IS TOO CROWDED. Of course, I will still going to the fair because I need to buy something. I totally don't enjoy walking there =(
I really hope oue exhibition quality can be improve. When will it be? Maybe after I become a designer..... hahahaha =P
