I was trying to find something about exhibition design after the lecture. I key in 'exhibition design' in the google search and I found several pages. The reason why I choose Finess Group is because I found some photos which shows their steps of doing an exhibition design.
I would like to make an introduction to this company. As I had mention, Finesse Group start their business since 1985. They have carried out hundreds of contracts throughout the UK and around the world. This means it is a well known international exhibition contractor. (sounds like an advertisment =P)
According to their online portfolio, big company such as Motorola, Sony Ericssion, MSC were also their client. Too bad their portfolio were shown using flash. Or else can share it here =(
Firstly, they start their design by sketches like how we did in our project. They also made 3D models to make it more believeable.
Secondly, they start to print out the poster or graphics which may pasted on the board. I NEVER SAW A BIG PRINTER LIKE THIS!!!
After that, they will start to create a suitable modular which developred with short build up and breakdown times in mind.
Then, they start to do the real exhibition. This is the most excited part =D
Lastly, the exhibition will send to the location in pieces.
