A new design need to have commecial value to promote in human's life.
Back to the video. This guy is really smart for me. In his case, an environment do force human to solve the problem they face. For example, houses in Hong Kong is expansive. Many of them live in limited space. So, this guy as an architecture used the knowledge he study before to make his house more comfortable.
I wonder how he get those furniture, since those are not very familiar =(

Well, the second video is also about furniture design. What force people to create something like this? No doubt, it is because the evolution around the world.
If there is new design come out, it is more costly compare to the previous one.
If it is costly and make people can't afford it?
In a nut shell, a new design need to have comercial value and promote it to our life =)
