new trendy short

Black hair can be problematic but making it shiny and gleaming with health is not rocket science – here are some helpful tips: First of all you need a hydrating shampoo, black hair tends to be very dry and it needs moisturizing, hot oil treatments are also good to give your hair a shine. You should do this once or twice a week to keep your hair looking healthy.

Once you have your hair in tip top condition you can start looking at style. The bob is back this season and plenty of women are jumping on the short black hairstyle bandwagon. A short bob looks great on black hair, to make it ultra stylish have a short bob with the last couple of inches razor cut, leaving you with wispy ends. Use a small amount of styling wax to fix it into position.

A lot of celebrities have gone way out on the line in the name of fashion and their hair is certainly no exception. With a wide range of options in terms of how they choose to style their hair, plus the desire to always create new and unique hairstyles it is certainly no wonder why Hollywood is often the birthplace of incredible styles. From the Rachel haircut that swept the country after the hit television show Friends, to the Dido flip following the popular singer to even the cornrows that Bo Derek made extremely popular there are tons of choices and a lot of diversity.

Short Blond Hair

Fashy Jessica claimed to have life changing photos of very short hairstyles for women that could be enormously good for a makeover of Maria Ozawa's rusting hairdo with black hair extensions. Surprised Maria defended herself by claiming her hairdo being one of the awesomely cool, punk, funky emo hairstyles for girls who wear colored contacts or cheap contact lenses.

Demanding Jessica insisted on her desire to share the brilliant, professional photos of very short hair styles. She proposed to meet at the local wellness and beauty salon for permanent laser hair removal where Mari could joyfully eyeball Jessica Alba's latest, newest, modern pictures of hairstyles for women.

Emotionally melting Maria Ozawa agreed to discuss the mentioned hip, cute pictures of haircuts for women, if Jessica agrees to tip the hairdresser who will cut Maria's own simple, easy, very short hairstyles for women. Fabled Jesica smiled her winner smile that she smiles after convincing someone to check out the

First of all, you need to be willing to trade low maintenance on a daily basis for higher maintenance in terms of haircuts. Short hair needs to be cut more frequently to maintain its shape. If you are thinking of switching to short hair but are used to 8-12 weeks between , be warned that your new short hairstyle may require cuts as frequently as every four weeks.

Second, take your size into consideration. While short hairstyles look wonderful on petite women, they can look disproportionate on taller or heavier women. Age can also make a difference; certain short haircuts such as the gamine give a very girlish appearance, so if you’re a much more mature woman, make sure you choose a mature version of a short haircut!

Tailor Swift Hairstyles

Tailor Swift Hairstyles

Tailor Swift’s hair is absolutely envious. She might jump out of her normal routine and wear it flat and straight, which looks fine, but her hair is naturally curly. Those ringlets you see on the red carpet are hers. Yeah, I’m jealous too!

You’ll hardly ever see the pretty singer without getting an eyeful of those gorgeous curls. Sometimes she manipulates them into being tight or loose, but they’re never too big or too little. They’re always just right.
Tailor Swift’s Lovely Curly Hair

Of course, she doesn’t just wake up and have perfect hair, though it looks like she does. If you’re wondering how to get that effortless, tame ringlet look, try these pointers:
For naturally curly or wavy hair, use a leave in conditioner. You can even mix it with your favorite texturizing product. Apply it from the ears downward; leave the top alone.

To prevent frizz, don’t touch your hair while blow drying. Use a long finger diffuser attached to your blow dryer and go through your hair slowly, not combing but supporting strands so that they can dry evenly. If your hair is thin and needs volume, bend over at the waist and blow dry your hair from the roots up.

If your hair is naturally straight, you’ll need a curling iron to get this look. Try something with a barrel that’s at least 1” thick. You don’t necessarily have to have tight curls; remember the looser they are the more natural it looks. Finish it off with a good natural hold hairspray. If you need shine, you can add a drop of serum to the roots, but let the curls shine on their own.

Hair Shade Trends 2010

Hair Shade Trends 2010

This year actually has a hair shade trend that I want to try: plum highlights. That actually makes me want some fruit too, but plum highlights sound great because my hair is already a dark shade. I’ve always wanted to try this. Sounds silly, but now I have an excuse to.

Not that crazy bright plum either, but a deep plum, the kind that’s sophisticated and classy. Actually, I might run out and get it done later on today. That’s how giddy I am about it.

Look for darker shades of brown this year, like rich chocolates, cocoa and even mahogany. Since the shade trends are dark, you’re going to see vibrant, deep reds, like mahogany, and even deeper shades of blonde. Except maybe in California, where for some reason sun-streaked strands are still relatively normal.

If you’re going to go blond, try for a honey color. That’s a nice medium between light and dark. You can even go darker, if you’d like; some blond colors are actually closer to brunette than they are to actual blond. Those shades look natural, and are soft, not harsh, so you probably won’t wind up asking what possessed you to do it a day later. Plus, going severely light on your hair all at once, may damage it. With a darker color blond, you’re saving your hair from drying out, becoming brittle and/or breaking.

Don’t be shocked if you see a couple of lavender hues round about town either. In fact, applaud, because that woman is bolder than I’ll ever be, and she probably looks good with it.

Summer Hairstyles For Wavy Hair 2010

Summer Hairstyles For Wavy Hair 2010

Wavy hair is beautiful and there are many women who have straight hair who are desperately trying to find ways to achieve the right wavy look. However, if you have naturally wavy hair, then you know that it can be nearly impossible to find the perfect hairstyle. It’s hard to find a good haircut that is versatile as well as easy to take care of when you have wavy hair. One reason for this is that naturally wavy hair is thicker than most other hair types.

Layers are one of the best things
you can do when you have naturally wavy hair. Layers will help you lessen the weight of your hair, while making it much easier to manage. Layers are excellent ways to add more color to your hair, since you can highlight certain layers only, or even add streaks of bright colors if you want. Layers are also easily worn short or long. Another good cut for wavy hair is a razor cut. This adds some nice texture to wavy hair, and is perfect if you’re looking for a short style, such as a bob.

Flexible styles are key when you have wavy hair, so that you can easily dress your hair up or down depending on the occasion. For this purpose, blunt cuts are very popular. These cuts have straight bangs and the sides of the hair are all evenly cut. Another great way to show off your waves while still being easy to manage are updos and half updos – keep the hair straight in some sections to really make a style statement.

Medium Hiar Styles

guess it’s blog-worthy news, on this site at least, when the woman with the most famous sought after hair style since the “Farrah ” decides to break it off with her long standing relationship with her hairdresser. ’s a BIG break-up . I say bigger than recent split from boyfriend crooner,John Mayer? Come on . it’s her HAIR!!!
What’s a girl to do? Reportedly she fired her hairdresser, Chris McMillan, of almost 15 years, who should most be credited with the “Rachel” cut. But, it’s my guess the split was an amicable one,for two reasons; Jen is known pretty much for amicable splits, and Chris is said to have given instruction to a new hairdresser, on how to do hair. Yet earlier this month she reportedly paid a whopping $57,000 to Chris to accompany her on a one week promotional trip across Europe . . . not a bad job if you can get it! So, not sure how this split came about, but I’m sure we will hearing more than we need to know soon!

New Hairstyles

Katie Holmes, Victoria Beckham, and Eva Longoria all chopped off their locks in the year 2008. Now it’s a whole new year and I can’t wait to see what they’re going to do next!
Fashion and beauty magazine Allure took to their website to talk about hairstyles for 2009. Check out what they’ wrote about! The Wavy Blowout A blowout with body looks more modern than a stick-straight one. Begin by blow-drying the hair straight with a round brush, then part it on the side and, using large hot rollers, coil small sections of hair under, rolling them up toward your part. Then use a paddle brush to coax the curls into a few big waves.”

China Glaze Poolside Collection Summer 2010

Okay, wow! Brightness! China Glaze has a tradition of doing neons each summer and I'd actually be a little worried if I didn't see a neon collection from them this year.... But... they did and here it is!

A quick note before I post the pictures: These pictures are not 100% true to life. Neons must really be seen in person to experience the full effect of the brightness and fluorescence of the shades. They do freaky things to cameras and the best photos I've been able to get of them are mere approximations. They are super bright, vivid and glowing in real life.

Flip Flop Fantasy. This is a super bright and almost... milky looking?... in-between coral orange pink shade. Out of all the shades, I'd say this is the most unique for sure. I can't think of another color that really matches this one. The closest I can think of is Jessica My Cabana Boy, to give you an idea of the shade.

Kiwi-Cool-Ada. Your standard medium neon green creme. Very glowy. Not totally unique, but still hot. There are just not enough neon greens in this world. I wish this was closer to Limonyte, but it's really closer to Color Club Limelight.

Pool Party. Super super bright glowing neon reddish-pink creme. This is a rich-toned neon, very colorful, very bright, very saturated. Much better in real life than in my picture.

Sun Worshiper. Light glowing neon orange creme. This reminds me a lot of that ubiquitous blue box of noodles with the unnervingly neon orange powder that's supposed to represent cheese... Unnaturally bright! This is almost like Color Club Explosive in color, very glowy bright-light fake-cheese orange with yellow tones.

Towel Boy Toy. This one is more of a bright than a neon even though it dries matte like neons do. It's a bright pretty sky blue with a very subtle shimmer to soften the overall look. Pool water!

Yellow Polka Dot Bikini. Woohoo, yellow! This is a lot like Celtic Sun but much more opaque and dense. Creamy base more than a jelly-like base. This was the sheerest of all the shades and I'm wearing four coats here, but the overall effect is definitely worth the trouble. It's not quite as bright as Essie Limelight but it is a lot brighter and yellow-er than Color Club Volt of Light.

The formula on these was okay. Not good or bad, kind of middle of the road. Not difficult to apply but not buttery-smooth-perfect, if that makes sense. Average. The only application issues I encountered were the watery consistency of Towel Boy Toy and the slight streakiness of Yellow Polka Dot Bikini. The colors are quite sheer on the first coat but are pretty much opaque in three. I'm wearing three coats of all but Yellow Polka Dot Bikini in these pictures and I'm satisfied with the coverage. A fourth coat would just be icing on the cake. And, like all neons, these dry to a matte finish. If you want them to be shiny, you will need to apply topcoat. If you like them matte, leave them as-is.

I love neons, so these were right up my alley. Even though the shades aren't totally unique, brand-new never-before-seen groundbreaking colors, they're still incredibly lovely. I think it's probably pretty hard to make an entirely unique neon so I don't fault them at all for that. I find that the formula, dry time and application of these is greatly improved from previous China Glaze neons and I'm rather fond of the intense glow these colors provide.

I don't have the exact date, but these are scheduled for a February release. Should be any day now!

Best Hairstyles Ideas For 2010, Summer Edition

Best Hairstyles Ideas For 2010, Summer Edition

2010 is all about being yourself, and nothing is more you than your hair. This year, feel free to break away from the everyday and try something totally new. Long hair is very much in style for 2010. One great style is to use a blow dryer to straighten your hair instead of a curling iron. Not only will you damage your hair less, but you’ll get a softer, much more natural look.
Best Hairstyles For 2010

This is easy to do – blot your hair after you wash it. Remove the blow dryer nozzle and then sweep your hair from side to side using your fingers while you blow dry, and when it’s almost dry, reattach the nozzle. Work in three in sections and pull them to the side with a paddle brush. To keep the hair tight, use your thumb on the bristles. Now just run your dryer up and down each section until it is dry – this gives you a beautiful look fit for a queen!
Best Hairstyles For 2010

Yes, the bun is still around in 2010, but this year it’s made younger and much sexier. If you’re hair is naturally wavy, just let it air dry, but if it isn’t, use a large curling iron and make loose waves.
Best Hairstyles For 2010

Gather your hair at the nape of your neck (let it be loose) and twist it once, just to that the bun drapes low. Use bobby pins wherever you need them to make the bun stay in place. Don’t try to be perfect – this look is all about comfort and beauty. It’s a great look for a casual date, or just to keep your hair out of your face while you look pretty.
Best Hairstyles For 2010

For those of you with naturally wavy hair, rest assured many people are jealous of you. Waves are beautiful, and very popular in 2010. No matter your hair’s length, waves look great. To get waves, use your hands and spread mousse all over your hair while it’s still damp. Blow dry it using a round brush, then roll big sections up in a 1-inch curling iron. You can also use hot curlers if you want. Make sure that you leave the ends out! When you’re done, break up the curls with your fingers so that your hair has lots of volume.
